Maybe unicorns aren’t wholly mythological: a one-horned deer has been spotted in a nature reserve near Florence, Italy. And it’s not merely a case of having one weird antler off to one side; it’s a horn poking straight out of its forehead. via Unicorns Are Real! | Wired Science | Wired.com. What’s Up For Next Week?

OYO

April 30th, 2010

Hey everyone.

This is the very first post to this section of the website, so bear with me. I hope that it is in the correct section of the website but please don’t be upset with me if it isn’t.

Here we go.

This week we discussed different things we could do as projects and Alex and Rachel developed an amazing list. Hopefully these things will help to recruit a younger audience considering that most of our members are graduating and leaving. Also, we will be working on posters (again) and doing other things to get the word out that OYO will be meeting throughout the summer.

I was thinking that because we only have 3 weeks of actual school left we should focus more on smaller and simpler group activities such as henna and whatnot. I’m not saying that we won’t do the baking thing, its just that we need to recruit! Baking may have to be a weekend thing, or just done on another day.

If anyone has any ideas about what projects we should do, please leave comments.  This means you, Alex and Rachel.
